How to make an exchange or return

Whether you’re returning for an exchange or a full refund, we don’t mind. Just follow these easy steps!

Enter the order number from your order confirmation email. It looks like M12345.

Start a return

Print out the return form and the optional UPS label

You will receive them by email. Be sure to follow the included instructions.

Repack items in outer shipping box or wrap

Place the Original Muck Boot box in a protective shipping box or wrap and apply the UPS label or your own postage.

Give package to UPS

Make sure you get a tracking receipt. We'll notify you within 3 business days of receiving the return.

Exchange & Refund Policy

Returned in original condition

Returns must be received in new, unworn condition with all packing material and tags. Please do not mark the Original Muck Boot box or apply tape or the label directly to the Muck boot box.

Footwear that is dirty or shows signs of wear cannot be returned.

45 Return Policy

Returns for refund must be received within 45 days of when the item was shipped. Returns received after 45 days are eligible for exchange or store credit only.

Holiday orders: Any orders placed in October through December can be returned for refund until Feb 15 of the following year

Free Shipping on Exchanges

When you use our pre-paid return label and get a shipping receipt, your return is fully insured.

  • Returns for exchanges are free for customers in the Continental US
  • If you use the pre-paid return label for a refund, $15 per pair will be deducted from the refund

Additional Details

  • Boots and shoes must be returned in new, unused condition with all packaging and tags in resalable condition. Socks and insoles can be returned only if in unopened packaging.
  • When you drop off your return, make sure it is scanned and you receive a receipt. Retain the receipt until the return is processed
  • If you use your own shipping method, we strongly recommend you get tracking and insure the package. We cannot be responsible for lost packages that didn't use our pre-paid return label or did not get a tracking receipt.
  • Exchanges are shipped free within the Continental US to street addresses. We reserve the right to limit the number of free exchanges.
  • Shipping fees apply for all exchanges to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada and PO Boxes. See our shipping policy for details.
  • If there is a return on an order with a discount, the discount is recalculated for the entire order and any difference deducted from the return credit
  • Shipping fees are not refundable unless we sent the wrong order.
  • Merchandise returned after 45 days is eligible for exchange or store credit only. We do not accept discontinued or clearance products for return after 45 days. We do not accept any returns or exchanges after six months from the date of purchase.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any return that doesn't abide by this policy. Refused returns will be shipped back to you at your expense.
